about

On the night of 22nd of March 2008, Philip Joseph Rae learned of his brother’s death from an accidental overdose of methadone.
Here Rae, more used to a lyrical style steeped in simile and metaphor, utilises a matter of fact recount of the events that followed his elder brothers death and that after something so world shattering, his incomprehension that the universal constants would dare to act like nothing had happened.
